Job Description
* This role is perfect for a Software Engineering Manager specialising in Javascript on the backend, working on the transformation of healthcare worldwide. * Salary 90,000 to 100,000 plus bonus plus stock options * Work at the forefront of artificial intelligence (AI) development * Rare opportunity to work in a fast-paced, early-stage venture-backed scaleup. * Reporting directly to the CTO. Role * Manage an agile software team and participate fully in all team meetings * Task planning and code reviews. Drive technical projects and provide leadership in an innovative and fast-paced environment. * Measure the impact of your team, define and influence product strategy * Highly technical and effective people manager (Managing a team of 5) * Supporting the CTO with strategy * Working closely with the Delivery team Who you'll work with: * Medical Doctors, Understanding their needs and building the tools that power our AI brain. * AI Team, The people who bring medical information to life in the Chatbot. * Product, Marketing and Content, Building out our website to bring accurate medical knowledge to everyone. Implementing the well-researched UX and Visual design Requirements * Management experience, a proven track record of supporting technical teams * 5+ to 10 years Javascript development experience * Experience with Node.js / React.js with hooks skills * Redux for state management * Deep understanding and love of HTML5 and CSS * Knowledge of best practices and browser specifics in desktop and mobile * Experience with at least one modern web framework * Experience with JSON, REST and building APIs * Experience with testing web application with tools such as Mocha or Jest * Degree in computer science or relative area Benefits * Participate in the burgeoning digital health industry * The opportunity for personal and professional development in an open environment where ideas and opinions are encouraged * A remuneration package including stock options, gym contribution, and other benefits * We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
