Title: Benefits and Value Realisation Manager Job Title : PPP Benefits and Value Realisation Manager Reports to : PPP Strategy Director Location : Warrington, with travel to Cumbria as required Background : Sellafield Limited (SL) has identified the need for project and program management support to deliver 17 major construction projects associated with developing the infrastructure required for the reprocessing and making safe of nuclear waste material. CAPEX for the 20 year program is estimated at 6 billion. The support SL requires is being procured through the selection of 4 Program and Project Partners (PPP) to form an integrated team for the 20 year programme duration. The PPP partnership will be comprised of: Integration (Lot 1), Engineering & Design (Lot 2), Civil Construction (Lot 3), Process Construction (Lot 4), and Sellafield. Each Partner has defined scope responsibility, and combined responsibility for delivering the Major Projects on time and budget for which there is a gain share mechanism in place. KBR has been appointed the Integration Partner. We will be required to provide strategic and enabling project management support as required to structure and deliver the portfolio of Major Projects under the PPP Project. Major Projects will be delivered through Aligned Delivery Teams (ADT), which will be integrated teams formed from all Lot Partners using the principle of best athlete, while taking cognisance of each Lot Partners specific scope responsibility. The Integration Partner will also be required to deliver Site-Wide Project Delivery Improvements (SWDP) and ensure the collaborative working environment with Sellafield Limited and the other Lot Partners is developed and nurtured. Core Responsibilities and Duties The post holder will be responsible for: + Establish Benefits / Value Realisation Management for the PPP to drive benefits into Major Projects, SWDP and within the PPP itself. Including + oDelivery of outcomes (effectiveness, workforce skills and Social Value) not just financial benefits + oBuild and sustain value through value cases and CSFs + oIncorporation into P3M and SL / PPP Operating Model structures (including determining resources, tools and systems relevant to Benefits) + Operate collaboratively across the five PPP organisations + Influence, inspire and effect change within SL and the way projects and programmes are delivered and governed + Produce insightful benefits analysis to inform change, ensure focus in 'value add' areas, and report on progress + Drive 'double digit' savings + Drive Social Value, and the measurement/capture thereof + Identifying value opportunities including testing hypotheses with stakeholders + Reporting through either written or verbal presentations Skills and Experience The following skills and experiences are essential : + Demonstrable experience providing client led benefits analysis to support decision makers within either the public or private sectors, minimum experience 5 years. + Experience at operating alongside and influencing senior level stakeholders, primarily at direct reports to C-suite level, whilst interacting with senior (including C-suite) and middle management + A passion for Social Value, and to ensure the PPP enables Sellafield Ltd to deliver true Social Impact to the immediate Sellafield area, and wider Cumbrian region + The ability to stakeholder management - with the client, across the PPP, and into the projects and programmes + The gravitas to 'hold their own' when challenged on benefits approach and direction of travel + Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical colleagues. + Proactive approach, a strong, pragmatic and determined individual + The ability to work as part of a diverse and geographically dispersed team + Ability to have a pragmatic and innovative approach when there is a lack of data, and/or a lack of buy in from stakeholders + Experience in developing Business Cases to justify investment and make the case for change from a strategic, management, economic, financial and commercial perspective + Consultancy soft skills, to enable building of great relationships with clients, facilitate workshops and influence outcomes The following skills and experiences are preferable : + Experience within the Nuclear Sector + Analysing data and the ability to provide efficiency insights and bring data to life through different presentational outputs Business reporting in Tableau or PowerBI (or similar tool). + Experience of using collaborative software such as Skype, Confluence, Sococo etc. + Understanding of the MODs (or similar organisation) CADMID cycle and gated approvals process Please note, the role holder will either need to have, or be eligible to apply for the appropriate clearance.
