Introduction The Quality Engineer is primarily responsible for supporting the Quality Manager in maintaining and developing the Quality Management System of TT Electronics Fairford Ltd ensuring that regulatory, customer and business requirements are maintained whilst driving a culture of continuous improvement through quality tools and trend analysis. Key Responsibilities + Support Production and Engineering in quality-related issues. + Interface with Engineering and Operations to ensure transfer to production of new products are in accordance with approved data. + Review customer performance and produce trend analysis monthly to ensure Defective Parts Per Million (DPPM), Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) and On time to Performance (OTTP) targets are met through continuous improvement activities. + Prepare Quality Assurance reports and trend analysis. + Perform Quality Systems audits. + Oversee the raising, monitoring and closure of Supplier Corrective Action reports. + Support the generation of First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRS). + Check, validate and sign off Certificates of Conformity (CFCS). + Ensure compliance to customer specific requirements and document results. + Drive continuous improvement activities to enhance the quality system such as lean, 5S etc. and provide suggestions and ideas to your Line Manager on ways to streamline processes. + Continuously develop your skills by completing online and classroom-based training and proactively seeking professional development opportunities. + Complete our on-line safety training, take care of your own health and safety on site and contributing towards a safe working environment for your team members. + Ensure compliance with company codes of conduct This list of duties & responsibilities is not intended to be an exhaustive list of tasks performed. Core Requirements PLEASE NOTE: Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance and SC level clearance may be required for this role. In the event that BPSS/SC clearance cannot be obtained you may not be eligible for the role and any offer of employment may be withdrawn on the grounds of national security. + Core competence in Microsoft Office + Working experience in problem solving, reporting and resolution + Performance Measurement Methods + Continuous Improvement.
