Role Summary/Purpose The Manufacturing Engineer is experienced in manufacturing technology & engineering design for subsea products, is capable of delivering high impact projects, deals effectively with technical information & influences the new product introduction (NPI) process. EssentialResponsibilities + Demonstratesleadership in communicating business goals/programs/processes for the subseabusiness. + Hasthe experience or expertise to solve problems. Able to develop and executeobjectives for self and others. This role has the ability to effect short-termand some long-term business goals. + Takeinnovative approaches to problem-solving relating to the manufacturability ofsubsea products. + Identifyprojects and solutions that are tied to program goals + Withlimited direction from Manager, manage small technology & productivityprojects to completion. + Responsiblefor work that is less defined in scope and has the understanding and experienceto execute business objectives. + Responsiblefor working with the Lean 6 Sigma team to develop more efficient processes, proceduresand drive productivity. + Prioritizeand manage multiple projects effectively. + Ensuretimely closure of manufacturing capability gaps prior to project commencement. + Highlightproject specific tooling needs for subsea products. Manages development of new toolingto facilitate manufacturing techniques. + Documenttechnical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent withengineering policies and procedures + Monitorand communicate project status, business issues and significant developments + Createand manage routings in accordance with manufacturing processes + Use tool management system for creation oftoolkits etc + Participate as a presenter or reviewer intechnical and program reviews Qualifications/Requirements + HNCor equivalent in mechanical/production engineering + Strongtechnical aptitude, including applicable engineering tools and systems + Solidoral and written communication skills + Stronginterpersonal and leadership skills Applications from job seekers who require sponsorship to work in the UK are welcome and will be considered alongside all other applications.
