Job Description

Cell Manager Wigan 142509BR Job Description Responsible for the WIND & IND segment using the three shift system that consists of 8 team leaders and between 24 to 44 operatives to ensure that production targets are achieved and that productivity levels are monitored and controlled. Responsible for the controlling of reject levels and ensuring correct actions are in place to deal with non conforming products. Responsible for continuous improvements through such tools as CBS and lean manufacturing ensuring a culture of continuous improvement within the area is met and sustained. Responsible for the control of material and labour variances throughout the month. Responsible for the recruitment of labour, training and the continuous improvement of personnel using tools such as coaching, mentoring, appraisals and disciplinary. Job Requirements Qualifications: Essential: Certificate in Management or equivalent (Level 5) Desirable: Grade C or above in GCSE Level English and Mathematics or equivalent Level 3 supervisory IOSH managing safety Skills: Essential: Numerate Literate Writing Coaching skills Knowledge and experience of the application of Lean manufacturing tools and techniques Desirable: Computer Skills - MS Word, Excel & S.A.P.
