Position Description Due to further growth in our Factor Portfolio Management team we have an opportunity for a Quantitative Equities Analyst to join us. You will support SEI's quantitative equity team, broadly split between research and ongoing maintenance of existing investment processes to aid achievement of performance objectives. The team runs a number of equity strategies and is looking to further expand its investment offering. This role offers you a great chance of making a strong impact on the team and the firm. What you'll do: Investment Research: * You will assist research, develop and produce return and risk factors * Document and publish findings in internal and external papers * You'll proactively contribute to the team's investment discussions Investment Implementation: * You will actively improve and automate investment processes and tools * You'll be responsible for rebalancing portfolios and reviewing model-proposed trades for portfolio managers' approval Investment Communication: * You will prepare market commentaries, identify and highlight key themes and their impact on portfolios Position Requirements What you'll bring to the table: **** * A measurable and demonstrable interest in equities * An advanced degree in finance, statistics, mathematics, economics or physics (or equivalent) * Strong coding knowledge with demonstrable experience of Python, R or Matlab * Knowledge of databases and their management Attributes we value:** **** * You will be research-minded, proactive, and curious in investments * Whilst we think our people are well-rounded individuals, candidates with a preference for the technical are preferred for this role** SEI is an equal opportunities employer and so much more... **** After 50 years, SEI remains a leading global provider of investment management, investment processing and investment operations solutions.
