Job Description
Under general supervision, independently applies advanced engineering techniques, makes decisions on engineering problems and methods, and represents the organization in conferences to resolve important questions or to negotiate with key engineers and officials of other organizations. Provides technical guidance to designers and less experienced engineers and is consulted extensively by associates and others with a high degree of reliance placed on scientific interpretations and advice. Design offshore and onshore pipelines at concept, pre-FEED and FEED phases. Working under the supervision of principal engineers you will carry out the calculations required to determine the mechanical design, routing and other parameters for subsea and onshore pipelines. Will also be required to develop calculation models to reflect changes in international standards and to interface with multiple other disciplines to develop the whole project. ESSENTIAL SKILLS Degree in Mechanical, Structural or Civil Engineering. Experience in Concept Engineering of subsea pipelines Carried out design calculations for subsea pipelines to DNVGL codes including OS-F101, RP 105, RP 109, RP 110 PREFERRED SKILLS Experience in FEED of subsea pipelines Experience in design of onshore pipelines (all project phases)
