Its BoxSizer technology platform can right\-size multiple sizes of cartons on the same machine without stopping for changeovers\. Linkx has recently moved to Gorleston near Great Yarmouth so look out for more opportunities as they expand\. Currently we are looking for an experienced Controls Engineer, based in Gorleston POSITION HIGHLIGHT: You will design and develop software programs for automated packaging machinery\. As part of a team you will develop servo\-motorized systems in our workshops and oversee their integration in the packing lines of our customers all over the world\. Using your technical expertise, you will ensure that equipment, systems and infrastructure associated with manufacturing, test and installation is effective, efficient and reliable\. HOW YOU WILL IMPACT WESTROCK: Follow WestRock safety procedures at all times Design and develop software programs Working with the electrical design team, produce & manage electrical drawings following the company standard drawing structure Complete documentation on time Produce and manage all HMI/SCADA and operation manuals on time and update with changes during the test period Assist in the testing of machines including fault finding as required to ensure they meet customer and company standards Produce and manage bills of materials for new projects Ensure you can confident to use latest software updates WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED: 4 years' experience in automation software engineering: Electrical Controls including Robotics, Automation, Servo Motors, Control Systems Design, PLC, PLC Programming, Instrumentation, Allen Bradley \(Studio 5000\), Siemens, SCADA, Industrial Control, HMI Programming, Pneumatics and Process Automation Experience of working with KUKA robotics a plus Experience of Motion Control a plus Ability to read and interpret mechanical plans and electrical schematics Good customer facing skills Able to operate on own initiative Proven ability leading problem\-solving teams Good collaborator Able to travel within UK and internationally 50% every 2\-3 weeks WHAT WE OFFER: Attractive salary with overtime potential A corporate culture based on integrity, respect, accountability and excellence A role in which you can further develop your skill Operations/Manufacturing WestRock Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to creating and maintaining a diverse workforce: Minorities/Females/Disabled/Veterans\.
