Job Description
Job Title: Technical Professional Leader - Structural Discipline: Structural Engineering Location: Leatherhead Job description Under broad direction, supervises and leads a group of engineers. Provides technical direction over a group and is responsible for employee performance appraisals and for coaching and developing lower level professionals. Plans, budgets, organizes, and controls an important segment of a very extensive and highly diversified engineering program or an entire engineering program of moderate scope. Job role is responsible for a measurable asset such as an assigned staff and budget. Required skills Specific experience is SESAM and USFOS analysis and design of offshore jacket substructures and pile foundations Experience with design and analysis of Offshore Topsides and modular structures Experience in design of rigging and seafastening design for jackets, topsides and other offshore structures. Familiarity with NORSOK, ISO and API offshore structural design codes and standards Demonstrate design responsibility for delivery of quality deliverables, at Pre-FEED, FEED and Detailed Design stages of offshore projects, or SME level covering fixed (jackets, topsides) and floating (semisubmersible, FPSO or FLNG topsides) structures, interacting with Client, fabricator and T&I Contractor essential Candidate must be willing to take up long term assignment at KBR Leatherhead Engineering Centre. Candidate must have experience to work across multiple engineering offices. Experience with analysis of offshore jacket substructures and foundations using SACS and GRLWEAP Evidence of broad exposure to the design and fabrication process for various fixed and floating offshore structures Evidence of broad experience in terms of international geographical range of projects.
