What are we looking for? Chubb is currently recruiting for an Installation Engineer The main goal of this role is to install all systems in a timely manner - intruder/ access control/ CCTV & Alarm. As an Installation Engineer, you will: + Plan the installation of a system in accordance with the specification. + Explain and agree with customer an installation plan. + Take responsibility for customers, customer service and presents a positive image of the company. + Instruct the customer in the correct use of the system. + Complete Handover documentation, site record books and timesheets accurately and legibly. + To work in a manner that does not put you or anyone affected by your activities at risk. + To follow all Health and safety instructions and procedures at all times. + To raise any Health or Safety concerns immediately + Ensure adherence to all Company Policies and Procedures. Required Experience To be successful in this role you will: + Proven technical background in electrical/electronic industry + Good basic education and ideally a relevant qualification in the electrical industry + Have a good working knowledge of all security systems + Good standard of IT skills + Good level of Customer Service experience Some of the equipment used : Intruder - Aritech, Microtech, Scantronic, Menvier, intruder signalling equipment, digital communicator, Redcare, Dualcom, GSM dual path communications CCTV - cameras, lenses, multiplexers, VCR's, digital recording devices, telemetry controllers, remote transmission systems, dome systems, pan/tilt/zoom assemblies, demountable towers and columns.
