Job Description
What you will do Our building efficiency division delivers products, services and solutions that increase energy efficiency and lower operating costs in buildings for more than one million customers worldwide. We are a leading provider of equipment, controls and services for heating, ventilating, air-conditioning, refrigeration and security systems. The UK&I Service team delivers innovative maintenance and service solutions to a wide customer base across all industry segments for HVAC, chillers, industrial refrigeration, controls and mechanical & electrical works. How you will do it As a Service Engineer in the Operations Team serving the Midlands area you will be working on chiller and A/C equipment installed at various world class facilities across the East and West Midlands and you will be involved with commissioning, maintaining and repair works within a set timeframe and according to a defined process, service agreement and customer needs. You will also provide technical coaching to less experienced service team members and coordinates on site work activity. Health and Safety will be at the forefront of everything you do. What we look for You will have an F-GAS 2079 card, Safe Pass, Manual Handling, Driving Licence Qualified to a minimum of NVQ II, an NVQ III or higher would be advantageous Familiar and capable of delivering Service/Maintenance and repair of Air Conditioning systems including VRV, VRF and CRAC Units from various manufacturers Familiar and capable of delivering Service/Maintenance and repair of Water-cooled and Air-cooled Chillers experience Have experience with major manufacturers Chillers such as York/Trane/Carrier/Climaveneta/Airedale Centrifugal and IREF experience would be advantageous but not essential
