Job Description

EHS Site Lead (Environment Health and Safety Site Lead) Develop, implement, and administrate all applicable environmental, safety and industrial hygiene support programs and policies. Provide compliance with all environmental and safety regulations. Act as primary liaison with external regulatory agencies. Direct the job responsibilities of staff. Role Responsibilities * * 1. Develop, implement, manage, and/or ensure compliance for Environmental, Safety, and industrial hygiene compliance programs. 2. Evaluate and act upon new environmental & safety regulations. 3. Manage site activities which impact areas of environmental and/or safety compliance with Baxter Requirements and applicable regulations. 4. In collaboration with management, assist in developing and implementing site policies concerning environmental and safety issues. 5. Monitor and direct the facility regarding new air permits related to operations and construction. 6. Negotiate and secure contracts for hazardous and non-hazardous waste disposal. 7. Primary contact for regulatory agencies such as Local Authorities, EA and HSE for inspections, permitting, and reporting. 8. Supervise departmental EHS Coordinators in support of site EHS program. NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health or equivalent, (5-7 years of advanced experience may be substituted.) Minimum of 5-7 years' experience. Must be conversant in EPA, and OSHA regulations.
