Job Description
**Role Summary:** The Service Cell Leader will demonstrate leadership in communicating business goals, programs and processes for the Rental COE. This role will utilize experience and or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others; execute short-term and some longterm business goals. The role will also coordinate activities inside the Rental COE related to; HSE; planning; Material Management and Shop Operations. The role includes personnel development. **Essential Responsibilities:** Provide leadership in the attainment of goals with respect to safety, quality, cost, production and compliance. Direct process/product improvement programs and provide process method excellence throughout the organization. Lead cell/group to achieving goals in shop productivity process/manufacturing loss improvement, delivered quality, delivery and cost reduction. Facilitate and drive key daily work priorities for the shop, to ensure workshop productivity targets are met. Actively participate in workshop production meetings to ensure Customer expectations are met. Ensure communication of key business/customer issues to employees. Provide total cell/group leadership to continuously improve refurbishment, test, assembly and process for all assigned products/processes. Pursue leading technology and processes to enhance product/process productivity and deliver quality requirements. Provide leadership to achieve asset utilization, cost attainment, quality, delivery, budget, and manpower goals. Train, develop, and provide ongoing leadership and direction of assigned personnel. Interface with other organizations and vendors to assure requirements are met on time. Ongoing communication of key business/customer issues Provide on-going support in scheduling resources, technical leadership and facilitating the flow of hardware to meet customer requirements. Participate in Cell / Team activities to meet identified goals. Provide technical, quality and production leadership to assigned Cells/Team Achieve highest levels of internal and external customer service. Support Shop Operations Leader in the strategic planning of manpower, equipment and other resources. Advocate Six Sigma rigours to all functions within the cell. **Qualifications/Requirements:** Bachelor's degree in Engineering/manufacturing is preferred or equivalent knowledge and experience Significant experience in a service-based workshop management position Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Ability to influence others and lead small teams. Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact. Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously. Effective problem identification and solution skills.
