Are you a passionate, dedicated Social Worker looking for a new challenge? HCL Social Care is working with our client, Birmingham Children's Trust to recruit a Senior Social Worker to work in the ASTI Assessment & Short Term Intervention team. About the Client The ASTI service was introduced in April 2015, and has made huge waves in the way the Trust deals with protecting children. Receiving referrals from the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub, they undertake assessments including child protection enquiries and those at immediate risk, and we take on short-term intervention cases with children in need. If families require intervention lasting beyond three months, they then transfer the cases to the relevant teams.
