Our Civil Infrastructure team in Reading are busy across development infrastructure, drainage and highways and we are planning on expanding the team in the coming months. We have has been at the heart of community development in the Thames Valley region and beyond for some time now. Our projects include public and private sector schemes that include some significant development, infrastructure and regeneration projects from small scale to larger national frameworks. Currently we are seeking to recruit an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join us at our office in Caversham Bridge House, Reading. Here you will have the opportunity to become part of our 50+ strong civils team who collaborate with a wide variety of other disciplines to deliver effective solutions to our clients. As a Senior Engineer in our team, typically you'll be BSc qualified or a Chartered Engineer. Your passion and experience of delivering quality infrastructure design solutions is most crucial to your success in this role. You will be ambitious, forward thinking and innovative. Your role will be to play a key part of our engineering team in delivering high quality design projects on time and within budget. You will work closely with our clients to influence the development of infrastructure scheme's in the region. Ideally, you will have expertise in development, highway and civil infrastructure design to deliver multi-disciplinary projects for the entire lifecycle - from concept, feasibility and planning through to detailed design and delivery. Skills with Drainage and Civils 3D are advantageous. **You'll need the following to succeed in this role:** + A detailed understanding of highway or development infrastructure design + Proven experience of delivering commercially successful projects + In-depth knowledge of section 38 and section 278 highway design is an advantage + Experience of mentoring and managing the workload of junior team members + Strong experience with Drainage + Experience with Microdrainage and Civils 3D You'll most likely be an Incorporated or Chartered civil engineer, but your passion and experience of delivering quality infrastructure design solutions is most crucial to success in this role.
