Test Engineer (Electrical Safety)

Job Title: Electrical Test Engineer Location: Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our Testing Laboratories in Hemel Hempstead, working as an Electrical Safety Testing Engineer within the Fire Detection Team. This role offers real diversity and variety, where one minute you'll be in the lab undertaking some precision measurements and the next you'll be discussing testing requirements with a client. Strong communication and project management skills are at the heart of this role as the Test Engineer you'll have constant interaction and engagement with clients at a variety of levels, from technicians to Directors. This role is perfect for an engineer with an electrical bias who is able to apply their technical ability in a client focused role. To be successful in this role you'll have experience on testing electrical products and have an Electrical Engineering qualification or relevant industry based experience. With this you'll need to use your strong interpersonal skills to confidently liaise with clients, and advise on the status of work to facilitate premier customer service & on-time delivery on all work and projects. A drive for development is key as you'll be given the opportunity to develop technical skills to work across a wide variety of laboratories, equipment and standards or client bespoke requirements.
