Essential Responsibilities: + Authoring of Safety Data Sheets + Oversee specific aspects of chemicalregulatory compliance schemes to ensure full compliance with applicablelaws and regulations, as well as internal and external businessrequirements, while driving continuous improvement + Provide interpretations andapplications of government regulations and statutes + Review chemistry of registeredproducts + Prepare domestic andinternational registrations/notifications of products Qualifications/Requirements: + Bachelor's or Master's degreein Chemistry or related field or equivalent knowledge or experience + Ability to research, analyze,interpret and disseminate the impact of global chemical regulations + Strong working knowledge ofglobal chemical control laws and regulations, in particular GHS and CLP + Experience in preparing SafetyData Sheets + Proven written and verbalcommunication skills in English with the ability to effectively interactwith management and field operations personnel + Strong organizational,analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills + Excellent leadership,interpersonal, communication, team building and influencing skills Desired Characteristics: + Strong chemistry/regulatorybackground with working knowledge of EU chemical regulations + Proven experience in a chemicalmanufacturing / industrial environment Locations: Kirkby or Aberdeen, UK This is your opportunity to learn more, do more, live the career you have imagined and be part of a truly diverse organization Baker Hughes, a GE company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
