It is also the world's largest provider of insurance actuarial and technology solutions that include leading software products and enterprise platforms. **The Role** This is a newly created consulting role for an experienced IT expert or accountant from within the insurance market who has a strong background in supporting the financial IT infrastructure and partnering the finance teams themselves. Our clients are looking to transform their finance functions to become more efficient and deliver fast, insightful reporting. The new FRS17 standard has opened-up the cross-over between actuarial and finance processes and we are working with our clients to support the changes that are required. This role is not responsible for any systems or infrastructure but will instead leverage existing knowledge and experience to play a key role in the development of ICT's global finance solutions. The role will also support teams on a variety of projects and sales initiatives by providing knowledge of the components and process within the finance IT architecture to complement the deep actuarial knowledge within ICT. **The Requirements** + Extensive project experience relating to the delivery of new or upgraded IT systems or processes within the finance team of an insurance business + Understanding of the IT infrastructure of finance within an insurance business including GL, sub GL, AREs, and reporting dbs. + Management or development of systems and processes that comply with regulatory and statutory reporting requirements (SII, IFRS etc.) + Management or development of UAT process for delivery into Finance + Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain technical issues to non-experts + Comfortable in sales and business development situations + Ability to thrive in a complex multi-team, multi-skill, multi-client environment This role will be based in the UK, but will involve travel.
