Job Description

What's in it for you? Vectorworks, Inc. is looking for a product trainer, who will be responsible for delivering hands-on training courses both online and in person. The trainer should have a passion for design and or computer graphics, strong presentation skills and principles for learning and instructional design. The trainer will be expected to quickly grasp and apply all of the design disciplines for the Vectorworks product line. In addition, members of the training team will take their turn at offering support to our Vectorworks Service Select customers, and participate in presales demonstrations and other events as required. In this role, you should expect to: + Design, develop, and deliver instructor-led training courses + Provide project support for training initiatives. This includes but is not limited to eLearning, technical writing, video tutorials, product testing, analysing data and writing training summaries all within established timelines + Maintain subject matter expertise for all business areas, including keeping track of technology and training trends + Develop and deliver fixture content for Vectorworks + Deliver online training to end customers and offices + Assist in the creation of content for customer education such as tutorials and "how to" videos, and marketing materials such as illustrations, videos, etc. + Provide help desk support to Vectorworks customers when needed via telephone calls, e-mail, online chat + Manage the student portal and approve licence requests + Develop sample product specific curricula for use in higher education programs. + Consult with subject matter experts, engineers and other Vectorworks personnel as needed in the execution of duties. + Participate in special projects as needed. + Work with Vectorworks management to provide customized product and industry knowledge to Vectorworks personnel as needed + Be prepared to travel up to 40% of time, although this might reduce with incoming training technology + Other duties as assigned Why do you want this job?
