The Reliability Engineer will be a key member of the Engineering team, responsible for driving equipment reliability through the utilization of engineering excellence and continuous improvement techniques, whilst ensuring the team and equipment operate in a safe manner. Main Tasks: * Deployment of Lean Manufacturing and Reliability Engineering techniques * Coaching the Engineering team in Lean Manufacturing tools and techniques * Daily operation activities include but are not limited to; Development of Predictive Maintenance Tasks with measures of asset performance, technical upskilling of the reliability engineering teams, maintenance contract management, understanding with operations, technical, safety and project teams to minimize losses and downtime * Development of Predictive Maintenance schedules in SAP with the appropriate supporting metrics * Identify and implement small CAPEX projects to reduce plant losses and inefficiencies * Ensure personnel safety at all times through full training, promoting a culture of 'zero harm' and in the event of any incidents, collaborating with EHS to complete any investigations * Ensure an engaged and motivated team though; regular performance reviews and coaching, training and engagement * Management of external contractors including; risk assessment reviews, method statements, tool box talks Qualifications : * An Engineering qualification to degree, HND or City & Guilds level or equivalent * Mechanical or Electrical Engineering experience in different environments * Engineering Food Processing Expertise * Motors and Controls fault finding expertise * PUWER trained, safety systems expertise in electrical guarding circuits and or mechanical guarding standards * Able to work safely at all times - IOSH/ NEBOSH would be preferred * Experience around compliance, i.e. LOLER/ Legionella * Food safety, hygienic design & maintaining food hygiene engineering practices * Working within a Lean Manufacturing or TPM environment - a formal accreditation would be useful * Experience setting up/modifying or refining CMMS/PPM/ Maintenance systems * Predictive maintenance experience i.e. thermography, vibration analysis * Experience managing a small engineering team would be preferred * Strong prioritization and decision making experience * Good communication at all levels Our Offer In return for your expertise and commitment, we will provide a fast paced stimulating environment, which will stretch your abilities and channel your talents.
