**Role Summary:** GFDS Production Master scheduling expert reports to GFDS Materials Management leader. He/She will be responsible of both Manifold & Connection systems Master production schedules and aligning the P&L long term to medium term planning tools. This role enables the build off an integrate Plan across all functions in order to create a robust slotting process and improve Projects OTD. **Essential Responsibilities:** Ideal candidate has the experience and expertise to analyze and solve problems and the ability to develop and execute objectives for self and others. This role has the ability to effect short-term and some long-term O&G business goals. - Demonstrates leadership in communicating business goals / programs / processes for the Subsea GFDS Product line. - Lead Supply Chain long term planning of production requirements. Support the ITO function: contribute to material procurement timing, order release timing requirements, available capacity, and lead-times - Lead the global master production schedule for the GFDS business - Lead capacity requirements planning (CRP) processes by gathering & loading information into planning tools, analyzing data, and providing regular updates to GSCM leadership. - Interface with COMM OPS and Manufacturing cells to track production progress. - Gather production metrics and periodically report these metrics to the materials manager - Ensure that the master schedule and production schedules are synchronized - Report and monitor supplier production load and capacity - Make use of business forecast with easy to access and transparent data & translate into forecast information for sourcing & manufacturing medium/long-term planning. - Lead scheduling discussions with the region/platform to focus on a rolling outlook as well as quarter delivery - If applicable lead advanced order process POR for long lead material to meet slot plan. - Coordinate capacity & long-term planning for both sourcing & manufacturing to ensure accurate delivery dates are given to ITO team during the bidding process. - Ensure accurate master production schedule (MPS) is linked between MFG, sourcing, & - engineering need dates to support build plan are defined. - Identify long-term MFG constraints/bottlenecks & coordinate with sourcing & plant manager/materials manager to develop fulfillment plan. - Support the ITO function and contribute to material procurement timing - Coordinate a Manufacturing Start of Work (MSOW) or readiness process for GFDS business - Interface with Commercial Operations, GPO, engineering, sourcing and manufacturing to track key milestones and deliverables - Gather production metrics and periodically report these metrics to the global materials manager - Support and develop global capacity models for the various sub P&Ls and use this information to make strategic decisions - Support FP&A business planning cycles **Qualifications/Requirements:** Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma) and proven experience in a similar role Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Strong influencing skills within a matrix organization Knowledge of production and inventory management Strong oral and written communication skills Strong interpersonal and leadership skills **Desired Characteristics:** APICS Certification Knowledge of ASCPS Six Sigma training is preferred **About Us:** Baker Hughes, a GE company (NYSE:BHGE) is the world's first and only fullstream provider of integrated oilfield products, services and digital solutions.
