Job Description

The FRM Bank Structuring VP will play a leading role in helping to manage the after tax returns of ICG. The role will include management of strategies already in place and the use of data to develop new strategies with the team. The FRM Bank Structuring VP will be expected to challenge strategies through data driven analysis and ensure that models are developed to make strategies robust and measurable. The role will also include producing management data and glide-path reporting. In this position, you will report into the ICG FRM [ ] and will co-locate within the FRM Bank Structuring team in London. You will also work closely with our Group Tax, Treasury and Financial Control as well as Technology and other key subject matter experts, and will have broad exposure across all ICG Businesses including Senior Management, Product, Sales and Trading managers and individuals and Operations/Middle Office. **Job Responsibilities:** + Support and challenge the development of strategies to maximize after-tax returns of the ICG using complex data analytics and an understanding of the Businesses to ensure that the strategic plans are deliverable and consistent with the firm's priorities + Manage and further develop strategies that have been put in place to enhance the after tax returns of the ICG. This will involve complex data analysis, questioning of data outcomes and constant attention to what is happening in ICG Businesses + Help organize overall efforts of FRM Bank Structuring to develop glide-paths to match the ICG Business plan and maintain the glide-path and track performance against goals + Identify, organize, and make accessible data that is relevant / valuable in these efforts, while helping to improve data quality, structures and flow in close collaboration with FRM Bank ~Structuring and Group Tax + Develop supporting presentations to senior management on performance of FRM Bank Structuring **Creative Problem Solving** Ability to understand complex ideas and problems in a fast-paced environment Ability to analyse and manage complex data Strong ability to identify, communicate, and advocate for solutions at both high and granular levels Superior attention to detail, accuracy, and scope Innovative and intellectually curious Willing to learn **Acumen & Communication** Strong ability to manage, prioritize, and communicate within a team High degree of self-advocacy, motivation, and development Highest level of professionalism and business acumen **Partnership & Collaborative Success** Appetite to partner with other stakeholders in the firm to drive objectives to delivery Strong interpersonal skills to identify and resolve conflict to mitigate roadblocks Ability to defend the team's interest and priorities, while putting the firm first **Technical Skills** Expertise in either US tax or Citi's accounting systems and at least an understanding of both Very high ability to develop an analysis, interpretation, and presentation Good understanding of financial market products and their US GAAP accounting Familiarity with general tax concepts Familiarity with bank ledger systems **Qualifications:** Bachelor's degree and preferably significant qualifications in Accounting or Tax, or other related field 3-7+ years relevant experience in the Financial Services industry with specific focus on accounting systems or tax planning and strategy A demonstrated history of delivering on initiatives Ability to coordinate processes and work as part of multiple teams across a firm An ability to manage personal workload and agenda independently but in alignment with the priorities of the business unit Ability to work under pressure in a highly professional Front Office environment ----- Grade :All Job Level - All Job FunctionsAll Job Level - All Job Functions - GB ----- Time Type :Full time ----- Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
