Role Summary: The ARMO Maintenance Engineer will join our Wireline Tools & Services Team in Aberdeen to undertake assembly, repair, maintenance and overhaul of associated equipment and products. EssentialResponsibilities: + Troubleshoot, test,assemble, disassemble and perform visual inspection of electronic andmechanical assemblies. + Review procedures forassembly, disassembly and test verification accuracy. + Configure test stations andsystems. + Analyse and interpret datafrom environmental tests and troubleshoot equipment problems. Analyticalability to find solutions to difficult technical problems. + Assist in the set-up ofexperiments and the recording of experimental data in collaboration withEngineering and Reliability groups. + Test and evaluate theperformance, and if required, repair general purpose test equipment.Provide supervision, mentorship and leadership of technicians in theabsence of the supervisor/manager. + Maintain equipment recordsand filing systems as part of quality control and assurance programs. + Inspection and dispositionof parts and equipment. + Provide coaching for otherTechnicians. + Assist in the preparation,development and enhancement of maintenance procedural documentation. + Evaluate maintenanceprocesses for potential improvements in quality, reliability, turnaroundtimes and costs. + Compliance with HS&Epolicies and procedures. + Part of an on call rotateam. Qualifications/Requirements: + Degree qualified inElectronics and/or significant experience in similar role + Significant maintenancerelated experience in electro-mechanical function or extensive relevantindustrial experience (airline, military, oilfield, automotive,electronic). + Proficient reading andinterpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints and parts listsand follow formal procedures and maintenance practices. + Ability to read andunderstand the English language. + Proficient in the use ofbasic and advanced electrical test equipment. + Expert level of analyticalability to find solutions to complex technical problems. + Expert skills in solderingand assembling of electro-mechanical devices. + Demonstrate systematicapproach to troubleshooting. + Excellent written and verbalcommunication skills. + Team Leadership Skills. + Ability to travel on shortnotice. DesiredCharacteristics: + Ability to lead team inaccomplishing defined maintenance goals. + Able to complete specialassigned projects. + Advanced computer skills.
