What are we looking for? As part of the Cyber Security Engineering Team, we are looking for a Software Consultant to act as our technical expert on the portfolio of cyber security products, featuring real time embedded and general software\. As a Software Consultant, you will provide an authoritative technical opinion on design reviews, engineering architecture and product development across Engineering and wider stakeholders\. You will work on high\-level customer requirements and develop and enhance them, addressing specific technical issues and providing innovative and optimised solutions\. In addition, you will create high quality documentation for internal and external presentation and on occasion promote TRL's technical capabilities to customers, ensuring the technical reputation of TRL is maintained\. Our Cyber Security Engineers work on award winning cryptographic products associated with UK Government grade network security, global secure network communications, and critical national infrastructure security\. We have over a decade of experience in Government Grade encryption and long standing relationships with UK Government and commercial agencies\. We distinguish ourselves in the Cyber Security Market with SWaP and performance, robust hardware solutions and first class customer support of our deployed products\. What skills will I need to be successful? + Embedded C/C code development + Object Oriented Design + Experience of all stages of the engineering project/product lifecycle + A deep understanding of the software engineering discipline What additional skills would be beneficial? + Cyber Security or Cryptography experience + Waterfall/Agile development methodologies + Experience working on a Linux platform + Enterprise architecting and software modelling for new solutions What are TRL's values?
