Engineering Manager - Liverpool Managing the Baxter engineering activities at our high performing site Liverpool. in order that equipment availability, reliability and capability is continuously improved, capital investment projects are delivered on time and to budget and Baxter Liverpool facilities and equipment are properly maintained in compliance with the requirements of cGMP, FDA, ISO13485 and EHS Legislation. The role will be working between Monday and Friday, 9am to 5pm. Role Responsibilities Assure a rigorous approach to EHS policies and procedures * Provide support to process and equipment improvement activities to increase OEE, Availability and decrease breakdowns * Investigate root causes for each problem by applying Lean Six Sigma tools in order to avoid reoccurrences. * Create orders in the system, monitor and control maintenance costs to be in line with BDG (each month), being able to challenge the status, when needed, without affecting safety or quality standards * Properly plan each shutdown to assure suppliers availability and respect of timing. Include preventive maintenance, Capex, projects etc. * Share works through the maintenance department with clear tasks, responsabilities, milestones and expectations * Improve the availability of equipment by improving the preventive maintenance plan, reinforcing the TPM approach and challenging the plan: simplification and focus on what is really essential * Manage CAPEX in terms of time, cost and result * Deal with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs Track the energy consumption and follow up the energy program Keep the facility in proper EHS and cGMP conditions by identifying a clear medium/long term plan to prevent age of equipment and facility, moving through priorities to respect the budget * Reduce the use of external contractors where possible * Guarantee proper cover to all shifts to assure availability of right skills in case of breaks during 24/7 production * Essential - Engineering Degree (Electrical/Electronic is preferred) * Essential -Lean Practitioner * Preferred - Pharma experience * Preferred - NEBOSH/IOSH/ COSHH * Preferred - IT skills Job: **Engineering* Organization: **Global Operations - Manufacturing* Title: Engineering Manager Location: GBR-London-Liverpool Requisition ID: 190002CC
