Production Planner Chester £25-30k 4 on 4 off shifts, 6am-6pm The Company We're currently representing a food manufacturing client based in the North West that is looking to recruit not one, but two new Production Planners! About the role This is a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, 12 hour shifts, 6am until 6pm This will be a very fast-paced site, therefore you'll need to be agile and used to working quickly. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the daily plan is produced to all customer demands and you'll be responsible for monthly forecasts to the MRP model for both raw materials and packaging. You'll work closely with site operations, technical, NPD & despatch and you will have the energy to be up for the challenge of a busy environment. Some of the other responsibilities include: * Maintain 8-week rolling stock material forecast and an 18-month long term forecast. * Maintain and support excel spreadsheets to ensure up to date information in the planning system * Monitor sales forecasts and challenge the data Who are we looking for? You'll already be working in a similar role within food manufacturing, or you will have gained this experience within your career to date. With this experience, you will have the proven exposure to fast-moving, high-pressure environments which is what we are looking for in this role. Additionally, strong Excel skills are a must and ideally, you'll be an experienced user of SAP. Salary Details In return for meeting the criteria, the successful candidate can expect a salary of £25,000 - £30,000 dependant on experience.
