Job Description

RoleSummary: You will have a critical role in driving continuous improvement across our New Product Introduction engineering process. You will operate at the heart of how we design, manufacture, test and prototype new products for our customers. Working in collaboration internal and external stakeholders you will drive continuous improvement and best practice into everything we do. EssentialResponsibilities: + Drivingcontinuous improvement across the New Product Introduction process + Managingthe assessment of supply chain readiness to ensure capability to build newproducts + Contributingto bids, validating resource requirements and cost model to ensure abilityto deliver on customer requirements + Reviewand recommending test and assembly approach, capability and deliverymechanism + Proactivelysupport and trouble shoot during prototype stage + Coachingand mentoring junior members of the team Qualifications/Requirements: + Have proven working knowledge of electrical / electronicengineering within a manufacturingenvironment + Beexperienced and comfortable questioning and influencing stakeholderstowards change and positive outcomes + Enjoyand be good at engaging with and facilitating people from all levels oforganization Desired Characteristics: + Benaturally inquisitive with an eye for the detail + Thrives on working collaboratively in a matrix organization,bringing people together towards an end goal Locations: + Nailsea This is your opportunity to learn more, do more, live the career you have imagined and be part of a truly diverse organization Baker Hughes is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
