Are you a passionate, dedicated Social Worker looking for a new challenge? HCL Social Care is working with our client, Birmingham Children's Trust to recruit a Qualified Social Worker to work in the ASTI Assessment & Short Term Intervention team. This is a locum position - get in touch to discuss potential contract lengths. About the team you will be working in Birmingham Children's Trust has a dedicated No Recourse to Public Funds Team (NRPF) that assesses the needs of families from abroad who do not have valid leave to remain in the UK or are subject to immigration restrictions, placing them at risk of homelessness and destitution. You will be joining an established team of qualified social workers who complete assessments in accordance with the Children Act 1989, immigration and human rights legislation, as well as case law.
