Quality Assurance Officer Releaser * * We are currently recruiting for a Quality Assurance Officer Releaser for the effective maintenance of the Manufacturing License and Quality System and the release of manufactured products for our Croydon Aseptics Specials Manufacturing plant. This is a temporary, 12 month contract position and the candidate will be actively involved in the day to day activities reporting to QA Senior Management. * * * * Role Responsibilities * * * Perform to approved standards and within the requirements of the Quality Management System in order to the Medicines Inspectorate, Health and Safety Executive and other relevant authorities * Assist with Quality Assurance activities, including (but not limited to) investigations, change controls and document reviews and updates * The administration and management of key Quality Assurance processes * Assisting in reporting and review activities * Providing assistance in internal audits * Assisting in continuous improvement activities To undertake and successfully complete an in-house competency assessment programme for the release of manufactured products. Comply with any restrictions that may apply when release of manufactured products. Release of manufactured products according to defined procedures. Perform 'in-process' checks, report and report any errors according to defined procedures. * To work as an integral member of the quality team to deliver a timely, safe, quality aseptic manufacturing service to meet customer needs. Assisting with daily workload scheduling alongside the QA Pharmacist and or QA Team Leader. To ensure that all documentation is complete and kept in a tidy and orderly manner To participate in the organisation and delivery of in-house education and training sessions. Science graduate or equivalent qualification Good understanding of the Regulatory requirements involving pharmaceutical manufacture. Specials licence requirements and compounding/aseptic process experience is desirable.
