Environment Specialist

Title: Environment Specialist THE ROLE Reporting to the PPP EHSS&Q Assurance Director the Environment Specialist is responsible for assisting the development, implementation and monitoring of environmental objectives for the programme. Also responsible for assisting in the oversight and direction of the management of Environmental aspects of the programme through the Aligned Delivery Teams (ADT's). A key part of the role will be liaison with the Sellafield Intelligent Client for Environmental Management. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Provide guidance and support in the implementation of environmental best practice to the ADT's and client; Delivery of Programme Environmental campaigns based upon learning from experience and industry best practice; Review Environmental plans and procedures prepared by the ADT's; Support the ADT's in the implementation of policies and procedures; Monitor the performance of ADT's with respect to the Environment; Liaison with the ADT's to ensure an effective flow of environmental information; Execution of Environmental audits; Collation and reporting of Environmental statistics; Ensure the delivery and implementation of improvement plans for Environmental performance.
