Senior Data Engineering & Analytics Specialist

We have an opportunity for a Senior Statistical Programming Analyst with a background in Data Science or RWE for a leading Pharma organisation. As a Senior Statistical Programming Analyst you will provide leadership, as well as strong technical, analytical and data wrangling services supporting Data Sciences strategy and projects. You will help drive statistical programming activities and provide therapeutic area specific data sciences engagement and implementation by: * Effectively collaborating with partner functions such as Data Sciences and RWE to implement solutions to deliver on data sciences requests through curation, engineering, profiling, exploration and analysis of clinical study data from diverse sources. * Partnering with therapeutic area data science heads to actively contribute to the development and maintenance of the therapeutic area data sciences strategy, including providing support for novel submission techniques like RWE. * Leveraging their strong technical and analytical skills, creating insights from the data to influence decision making and/or strategy. * Serving as a subject matter expert for Data Sciences requests and sharing lessons learned with trial level programming leads and programmers. * Providing active leadership in the Data Sciences Community forums, sharing knowledge and efficiencies Experience required: * Experienced analytic individual with mathematics & statistical programming skills with a passion for working with data. * MSc and a minimum of 4 years of experience in a related field. * Knowledge of Health Research Data with the ability to analyse, interrogate, engineer and curate data from diverse sources. * Advanced knowledge of relevant programming languages such as R, Python, SAS. * Advanced understanding of Machine learning Concepts, Time Series of Forecasting, Logistic Regression, Data Mining. * Experience planning and coordinating complex data analytics strategy and activities, leading teams, working with cross functional stakeholders with strong written and verbal communication skills. * Proactive and innovative mindset with a passion for learning.
