Early Years Practitioner

Salary: £16,016 - £19,136 depending one experience Industry: Childcare Sector: Nursery Job ID: 32108 Do you have what it takes to help shape the little minds of the next generation...? If so, we are looking for two experienced Nursery Practitioners within the BS20 area to join an excellent nursery team and to work alongside the management team to deliver exceptional childcare and to build secure foundations for lifelong learning. You will be joining a team of highly experienced practitioners who are carefully selected for their genuine love of working with young children. Position 1: Early Years Practitioner - Baby Room (Age group: 0 - 2 years old) Position 2: Early Years Practitioner - Pre School (Age group: 3 - 5 years old) What are we looking for? * A minimum of 1 year hands on experience of working with either 0 - 2 or 3 to 5 year olds as a key worker (depending on which position you would like to be considered for). * Level 3 qualified or above required * Room size: 30 max. * Passion, work ethic, team work, curiosity and love of the outdoors are an absolute must. * Experience of ' In The Moment Planning' (Anna Ephgrave) beneficial. * Paediatric First Aid beneficial although not essential as we'll pay for this qualification. * Confident in the EYFS and application of this through ' In The Moment / Responsive' planning. Confident in writing observations and communicating to parents. Both roles are 40 hours per week spread over 4/5 days and will have a room size of 30 max.
