Job Description

* Ensure Security and privacy of networks and computer systems * Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to the specifications * Set up computers and necessary peripheral devices * Check computer hardware (HDD, keyboards, mice etc) to ensure functionality * Perform regular testing of backup procedures to meet policy compliance * Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment * Organise and schedule upgrades and maintenance * Perform trouble shooting to diagnose and resolve problems * Maintain records/logs of repairs, fixes and maintenance schedule and asset register * Take an active role in monitoring and maintaining information and security documents * Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place orders
