The client is an international venture, specialising in Data and Analytics as well as cloud hosted solutions. They work with a number of end clients including many high-profile financial service clients. This role is located at the London office of the Consultancy; however, there will be a small amount of requirement to work on site with end clients, from time to time. Your responsibilities will mainly focus on the technical delivery of solutions. You will be expected to work closely with clients to fully meet their unique requirements; transforming these into groups of functional & non-functional product requirements & solution configuration tasks. You will own the entire process of design, documentation and communication relating to the proposed technical solution model. As owner of the overall solution, you will be an integral point between all other teams (Business Analysts, Developers, Dev Ops, Data Architects) providing guidance and direction to them in order to achieve the correct architectural solution. As Technical Solution Architect, you will also work on the codebase for certain tasks related to technical solution delivery and attend Product Development Reviews and design sessions to explain core feature requirements to the product team, especially where core product changes are required. You will collaborate at all levels of the design and development lifecycle, from direct communications with business stakeholders and clients to detailed design and coding tasks. It is therefore critical that you are hands on with end-to-end Java programming and development (including code reviews, de-bugging etc.). Desired Candidate Skillset: * Demonstrable experience working in Solution Architecture or Technical Architecture * Experience creating solution diagrams (sequence diagrams, flowcharts, swim lane diagrams, etc.) * Hands on programming experience with Java and its related technology stack * The ability to consider multiple solution approaches, rationalizing benefits & drawbacks * An analytical problem solver, able to identify and resolve issues in a deployed environment * Experience of designing and implementing integrated solutions to various external products and platforms * Experience working with html, css and js or js frameworks * Experience with Atlassian product suite (e.g. JIRA, Confluence) and solution documentation tools * Cloud Infrastructure and SAAS experience desirable.
