As a Senior Practice Nurse you will work as part of an integrated healthcare team, utilising your clinical expertise, decision making and problem solving skills to provide skilled and evidence based nursing care for patients in the prison. You will work within your scope of practice, in accordance with Care UK and prison service policies and procedures in line with the NMC Code of professional conduct, performance and ethics for nurses and midwives. You'll be responsible for providing clinical support to all staff; as well as developing appropriate nurse led clinics in Chronic Disease and Health Promotion. With the ability to think on your feet and a flexible attitude, you'll be a qualified adult, dual qualified or RGN nurse with current NMC registration. You'll receive an annual salary of up to 33,779 - dependent on experience. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week, working hours are 07:30 to 18:00, Working 4 days per week on a rota basis, approx. 1 weekend in 3 will be required. Next steps...
