Job Description
Whittington Health Trust are looking for a Band 7 Bank Interventional radiology Nurse to join their team. * The post holder will be a qualified, experienced Interventional Radiology (IR) Nurse and registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council with an up to date PIN number. * As part of the multidisciplinary team, the post holder will ensure patients receive the best possible care while undergoing Imaging procedures, both invasive and non-invasive. * The use of audit and evidence based practice should be utilised by the post holder to achieve optimal delivery of care * The post holder is also expected to carry out relevant forms of care without direct supervision, and will be required to demonstrate procedures to, and supervise, qualified and unqualified staff. * The post holder will contribute to the overall good of the organisation by being a positive role model and treat all staff, visitors and service users with courtesy. * The post holder is expected to deputise in the absence of the Imaging Senior Sister. * The post holder will undertake internal rotation on the on-call rota to cover the needs of the service Essential Requirements are: * NMC Registration * 6 months NHS experience in similar role * Employment Type: TEMPORARY
