An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, enthusiastic and passionate Division Manager, Cardiac Surgery UK, Ireland and Nordics within the Abbott Structural Heart Division, based in the UK (or Ireland or Nordics). This role reports into the General Manager of Structural Heart for Northern Europe and oversees commercial activities in the UK, Ireland and Nordic Regions. For this position, we are looking for a talented individual with relationships and experience with cardiac surgeons and with a results orientation. **Roles & Responsibilities** + Manages the UK, Ireland and Nordic Cardiac Surgery business profitability and holds responsibility for that P&L. + Keeps the organization's vision and values at the forefront of decision-making and action and demonstrates effective change leadership. + Communicates vision, strategy and objectives throughout the team, encouraging cross-divisional collaboration and teamwork to drive continuous improvement, functional effectiveness and cost efficiency + Coaches sales team with a collaborative leadership style to apply a consultative sales process enabling them to build value propositions that maximize the attractiveness of the Abbott offering in the eyes of the customer + Manages and coaches the activities of field personnel to establish and achieve their annual sales objectives. Fosters a workplace that enables the team to contribute their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectives. Creates an entrepreneurial environment + Builds and maintains relationships with local Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) to encourage their continuous input on conventional therapies/technologies, emerging technologies and patient requirements + Negotiates contracts with external customers. Keeps management informed of market dynamics and competitive activity Frequent travel throughout the region will be required. **Education & Experience** + Commercial/Business Education or an Education as an Engineer with a wealth of experience in the Medical Device Business as a Sales Leader, MBA preferred + Demonstrated excellence in managing P&L and demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets + Demonstrated track record of launching new products + Excellent negotiator, proven track record in commercial excellence + Strong coach, communicator and organizational skills As you'd expect from an innovative global health care company, we offer excellent salaries and a competitive range of benefits including a defined-contribution pension scheme, private healthcare, life assurance, and a flexible benefits scheme.
