Job Description
Location: Central London office, but remote / work from home mix in the main Salary: Very flexible, but ~55K - 70K basic + Benefits Package We are seeking talented technical people with great interpersonal and communication skills to join a growing Professional Services team. You will be Implementing, integrating, delivering & configuring complex software into the financial markets space. Working on globally used, critical systems. The role ranges from requirements gathering and business analysis through conducting client trials and full deployment, configuration and integration of the solution. Client facing skills are key to success in this role, but also the ability to work across a range of technical disciplines, such as Linux, SQL, Scripting languages (Bash, Python, any really!) & general networking. You will relish problem solving, delight in delivering the best possible solution & feel happy working in both a Pre & Post sales environment. We offer the opportunity to work with some of the world's largest financial organisations, while maintaining small company fintech dynamics & work/life balance (Travel & client site work is minimal) Requirements * Technical problem-solving mind-set is an absolute must. * 2-5 years of Technical Software Delivery or Professional Services experience in the technology industry. This is where we think the sweet spot is, but you may have more, or less - we hire on ability, potential & critical thinking, rather than number of years doing something. * Development background is preferred, but certainly not a pre-qualifier (Any language: .Net, Java, Python, etc) * Linux, bash and scripting skills * Database experience, ideally MySQL, but any SQL based is fine. * Familiarity with network technologies; TCP / IP, etc. Desirable * Familiarity with network tap/span/aggregation. * Java experience, coding, trouble-shooting or deployment. * Java Spring framework experience. * Wire protocols experience.
