We are looking for an experienced Nursery Chef to join a leading childcare provider in the RH16 area. You will be joining a team that have the motivation, experience, training and attitude necessary to provide quality care and education to children from birth to five years. They invest in their staff to ensure you receive continual training, quarterly supervisions, annual appraisals and offer a career path with long term stability. Hours: 8.00 to 4pm or 8.30 am till 4:30pm Age group: 3 months - 3 years What are we looking for? * Minimum Level 2 Food Safety * Experience as a Nursery Chef * Someone to ensure the preparation and delivery of a balanced, healthy nutritious and tasty diet following our seasonal menus for all children aged 3 months - 3 years, taking into consideration food allergies and preferences. * Ensure that hygiene and cleanliness within the kitchen is of the highest standards in accordance with Environmental Health requirements and legislation * To follow the settings kitchen procedures and maintain records in accordance with Environmental Health policies and processes * Follow the Safer Food Better Business standards * Provide learning experiences for the children by working alongside the nursery staff to offer activities that involve cooking and learning about food. * Ensure that any allergies and preferences are catered for on a child's individual basis * Support the Manager in working towards the EYN Partnership Quality Mark - Brighter futures through better nutrition As a staff member with this setting you can expect a competitive salary, excellent training and development opportunities.
