Principal Programming Analyst

We are looking for a Principal Programming Analyst for a leading pharmaceutical company that focus within oncology, immunology, neuroscience, infectious diseases and vaccines, and cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. The role is responsible for the planning and oversight activities of programming activities along with high complexity programming activities. They offer: * Flexibility to be home-based 2 days per week * Competitive salary * Annual bonus up to 9% * Very competitive benefits package including a Career Average Earnings pension, medical cover, share scheme and childcare vouchers * Excellent career development opportunities Responsibilities: * Develop detailed programming strategy and plan programming deliverables. * Design and develop programs in support of complex clinical analysis and reporting activities. * Perform comprehensive review of, and provide input into, project requirements and/or project documentation. * Coordinate and oversee programming team activities and provide technical and project specific guidance to programming team members to ensure quality and on-time deliverables * Lead others in an area of expertise that results in increased efficiency and quality of deliverables across multiple projects. * Apply technical and analytical expertise to develop and implement solutions for use on multiple projects, leading to increased efficiency and quality across programming teams. * Collaborate effectively within statistical programming and with cross-functional working group team members, including internal and external members. Qualifications: * In-depth knowledge of SAS statistical software. * Knowledge of SAS macro language and SAS Graph. * * Knowledge of programming language(s) and data structures. * Experience planning programming activities and leading teams of programmers.
