Monarch Education is recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants for our lovely partner schools in Telford. We are looking for people who have experience working with children with SEN and who want to make a difference by helping pupils progress. The role is very rewarding as you will see children learn and develop thanks to your help! Job type: SEN Teaching Assistant Starting: September 2020 Working hours: 8:30 - 3:30 Location: Telford Minimum Qualification: TA qualification / Relevant experience Salary: £60 - £80 Pupils who require this additional support may have needs such as: - ASD (Autism) - Specific Learning Disorders (Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, ADHD, Dyscalculia) - SEMH (Social Emotional Mental Health) - Moderate Learning Difficulties - Physical Difficulties - Severe Learning Difficulties Your role as a SEN Teaching Assistant will include: - Building relationships with pupils - Looking after the child's physical, social and emotional welfare - Helping with challenging behaviour - Keeping record of progress made - Working closely with teachers and parents Who are we looking for? - Excellent communication and listening skills - Positive attitude - Role model for children - Ability to work under pressure - Flexible and keen to participate in extracurricular activities during lunch time Why would you apply for this job? - Welcoming and supportive team - Would help you progress into a career as a Teacher - Competitive salary If this role sounds interesting please apply. #MONTB
