In addition to a learning disability, many of our patients have complex needs including forensic histories, mental illness, ASC and Personality Disorders. Most patients are detained under the Mental Health Act 1983. We are looking for an experienced Director of Clinical Services/Modern Matron with experience within a Healthcare setting. This role will allow you to play a central part in the development of the UK's leading independent provider of mental health services. What we want from you: NMC (Nursing & Midwifery Council registered) Ability to harness the commitment and potential of others Excellent organisational capability A hands on manager, motivated with a strong "can do" attitude Forward thinking and able to challenge the status quo A role model & mentor to other staff - providing advice and support to promote good practice About the role: Reporting to the Hospital Director, you will oversee the day-to-day running of the Hospital to ensure the highest standards of clinical care. We expect you to forge positive working relationships and influence all members of the Hospital MDT, as well as maximising the potential of the Ward Managers within your team. A true champion of continuous improvement whilst ensuring adherence & compliance with statutory regulations and current legislation, meeting quality standards and delivering against key performance indicators.
