Workforce Planning Coordinator
Overview
Job Description
An exciting opportunity for a Workforce Planning Coordinator has arisen to support the operational team. This is a key role within the business, responsible for coordinating and allocating predominantly our blue collar workforce for projects. Working in-conjunction with internal teams such as, HR, Operations and Planning, as well as full optimisation of all operational labour. Key responsibilities: Ensure labour is all allocated in line with budgets and targets Work in conjunction with planners to accurately allocate labour for current and future projects Educate project teams on labour requirements, advise and guide when needed Utilise historical data and forecasts to develop accurate headcount models Liaise with the planning team and PMs to resolve problems with labour allocation Liaise with the Resourcing and Emerging Talent Manager on potential gaps in labour for projects and agency worker movements Liaise with the HR Advisor on all internal operational labour movements, highlighting any potential employment issues, concerns and challenges Support the projects to complete relevant paperwork for labour movements Participate in PHR (Project Health Review) meetings Design and implement workforce tracking methods Optimise labour allocation and provie labour reports including forecasting Produce robust management information for the Executive Leadership Team, highlighting key trends, movements and statistics on efficiencies and productivity of labour What we're looking for: Working knowledge of MS Project and/or Primavera Advanced use of MS Office Educated to A level, or equivalent UK drivers license Ability to build effective relationships at all levels within the business Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Able to challenge and influence others, to contribute effective decision making Strong ability to work flexibly, managing changing and competing priorities Previous experience within a workforce planning position Previous experience within the construction / M&E industry Responsibilities: An exciting opportunity for a Workforce Planning Coordinator has arisen to support the operational team.
