The Role - Teacher of English Our client school are searching for a Teacher of English who will inspire pupils in the classroom by delivering an innovative curriculum. The Teacher of English will be giving students the confidence to think big for themselves as they progress through their learning and development. The Teacher of English will have strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver both literature and language material to students working at KS3 and KS4 level. Teacher of English applicants must have previous UK teaching experience in line with the national curriculum as well as a subject related degree, teaching qualification and QTS. The School - Borough of Brent This is a larger than average secondary school located in the heart of Brent. Oversubscribed yearly with pupils living in the immediate catchment area. The proportion of pupils eligible for free school meals is higher than the national average. Pupils represent a range of ethnic groups, close to one third speak English as a second language.
