Service Charge Account Manager

Service Charge Account Manager - Permanent - based in Flitwick A national firm of accountants and business advisors who proudly have one of the country's largest teams of award-winning service charge accountants. Our specialism operating in the property management sector has seen annual sales growth exceeding 20% per annum since 2016. Our key to achieving this is through our knowledgeable, energetic and agile team who work hard to assist our client's businesses, helping them not only with their day-to-day business needs but also to build and deliver their business strategies, goals and ambitions. Purpose of Role: The firm is now looking for an experienced qualified accountant currently working as an Account Manager to oversee the smooth running of the service charge division which operates out of two locations based in Flitwick and Southampton and to play a key role in the ongoing expansion of the business. The role, which will predominately be based in our Flitwick office, involves reporting to the directors and contributing to the strategic direction of the business. Responsibilities: * Workflow management across the business * Revenue forecasts and management * Work in progress and recoveries management * Staff management and development * Compliance of the service line across the two offices * General office administration * Client file reviews * Key account management Person Specification: * Previous experience in a practice environment * FCA or FCCA qualified * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work as part of a team * Knowledge of the property sector and service charge reporting would also be an advantage, however not essential * Ability and willingness to travel to our Southampton office This role provides a clear path of progression within the firm and it is expected that the role will lead to a director position within 2 years.
