SEN TA - Starting September 2020 - Daily Salary £70 - £80 - Borough of Hillingdon SEN TA required to start September 2020 SEN TA will be paid a daily rate of £70 - £80 SEN TA is expected to have previous experience supporting learning/physical disabilities SEN TA must have English and Maths GCSE'S at grades A*-C Are you an experienced SEN TA looking for a role to start in September 2020? Are you confident in supporting learners with ASD, PMLD, SLD, Complex Needs and more? Are you open to providing personal care? If you answered yes to the above then this SEN TA role is for you! The Role - SEN TA SEN TA is required to start in September 2020 supporting learners with ASD, PMLD, SLD, Complex Needs and more. The SEN TA will be working with learners aged 16 to 25 and will have had previous experience supporting young adults with learning and/or physical disabilities in education or care settings. The SEN TA will be confident in providing each student with the support required to carry out their learning tasks, this will include some elements of personal care. The SEN TA will provide classroom support as directed by lecturers to ensure that the agreed individual learning plan for each pupil is followed. The SEN TA will be passionate about supporting those with learning/physical disabilities and will support them in their day to day tasks to gain self-confidence and independence. The SEN TA will be literate and will hold A* to C grade in Maths and English as accurate report writing and observations are a key part in this role. The School - Hillingdon This SEN setting is a day school catering to over 30 pupils aged 16 to 25. The school is a total communication environment encouraging students to become independent and supporting them with life skills through the use of verbal and visual communication. There is a high staff to pupil ratio and students are supported in their speech, language and communication needs at the universal level as well as specific learning structure for those with ASD, PMLD, SLD, Complex Needs and Physical/Learning Disabilities.
