EMEA Commodities Confirmations Analyst

The successful candidate for this role will primarily be tasked with generating confirmations for new trades executed on a daily basis and timely dispatch to counterparties, within regulatory prescribed timelines. **Other tasks associated with the role include** : Daily monitoring and handling of the SWIFT matching confirmation process Daily monitoring and handling of ICE and EFET electronic matching confirmation process Work with Legal, Credit and Trading as necessary to ensure that confirmations properly reflect the terms of the deal executed Review incoming confirmations from counterpart and discuss any non-standard clauses with Legal prior to execution Chase counterparts for outstanding confirmations not received timely Perform reporting duties (daily, weekly, and monthly) Develop a technical understanding of supporting applications and architecture identifying opportunities for improvement and involvement in testing Perform UAT (user acceptance testing) as necessary to ensure that there are no bugs in proposed versions to be installed into production system **Qualifications** : Degree Preferred in Business oriented field Previous relate work experience a plus Detailed working knowledge of derivative products and commodities a plus Proactive mindset, with a drive to get improvements implemented Ability to identify gaps in controls and provide solutions to bridge those gaps Ability to work with IT to provide detailed specifications for requested enhancements Strong interpersonal skills Excellent excel skills Interacts well with traders/salespeople Ability to multitask and strive in a fast pace environment Able to work well as a team player **What we Offer** As well as a competitive salary and consideration for a yearly discretionary bonus Citi offer; + 23 days paid annual leave + Award winning pension scheme, + Life assurance and + Private medical insurance with Bupa healthcare.
