English Teacher - Secondary * East London, Hackney * Full time, perm * Sept 2020 start * Pay scale: inner London Classroom Teachers are currently looking for a passionate English Teacher with previous experience to join an Ofsted rated 'Good' secondary school in East London. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within an great school and hardworking team. We are accepting applications from NQT's. All applicants should have UK QTS or an overseas formal secondary school teaching qualification. You will: Assist with the management of student behaviour to ensure a constructive, positive working environment. Responding to students about the work that has been set. Mark work, give appropriate feedback and maintain records of pupil's progress and development. Be supported with a team of highly qualified teaching assistants. Select and use a range of different learning resources and equipment to motivate and encourage students. The age range you will be working with will be between 11 and 19. Candidate requirements: You must have previous experience working in this sort of environment You will need an enhanced DBS, this can be process through us and will cost a fee of £40 that the government charge - we add no extra administration fee. A QTS is essential You must be passionate about education, and possess a positive and engaging demeanour.
