**Summary of Role** This is an opportunity for an Associate to join the Third Party Oversight team which is part of the wider Global Investment Operations group. The successful candidate will join a team of six whose primary responsibility is oversight of the key service provider relationships of both the internal Funds business and delegated client base. Day to day responsibility will involve building relationships with key internal and external stakeholders acting as an internal escalation for issues and working with external parties on operational processes and resolution of issues. The team is also responsible for the day to day operations of the TWIM funds so as well as overseeing the key relationships, there will also be responsibilities associated with ensuing accuracy of administrator processes as well as ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements of the Funds. There is an opportunity for the successful individual to be involved in driving forward the new oversight model within the team and to help build out the operational oversight processes that are in place across the funds and delegated client base. The role is suited to an individual who has a keen eye for detail, proactive attitude to change and who is able to build internal and external relationships with key stakeholders. Experience of Fund operations would be a benefit as well as general business knowledge of investment management operations. **The Role** More specifically, the role would entail the following: + Act as the main point of escalation for third party (administrator / custodian) provider issues across the TWIM Funds and delegated client business recording issues accurately and escalating where appropriate to both internal and external stakeholders through to resolution. + Oversight of the third party administrators for the Funds business ensuring that deliverables are met in accordance with Service Level Agreements, review of key performance indicators and attendance at service review meetings. + Assist delegated clients with regular reporting on custodian relationships, ad hoc custody projects and the annual due diligence process with third party custodians. + Assist in the implementation of new product solution launches and change processes as and when required focusing on the operational setup with third parties and internally. + Review and approval of the NAV oversight process for the TWIM Funds + Ensure the teams regulatory requirements are satisfied and delivered on time and in line with requirements. + Assist in other business as usual processes and activities to ensure the smooth running of the TWIM funds, including by not limited to; NAV oversight, oversight of the Fund Accounting, Transfer Agency, Custody and Hedging providers, Fund budgets, Investor rebates, change processes and issue escalation. + Work as part of a team responsible for meeting regular deadlines and reviewing work prior to being sent out of the team, adhering to the GI-Operations guidelines on work review and professional excellence standard. + Production of MI reporting and trend analysis for senior management + Being comfortable overseeing a large number of projects at any one time, maintaining a high quality of work at all times. + Ensuring deliverables are managed to deadline and in accordance with SLA's. Be able to communicate clearly to the management teams about progress, issues and outcomes. + Demonstrating risk-management excellence and ensure appropriate procedures are adhered to. **The Requirements** + Proven experience within a third party oversight role at an asset manager or similar. Ability to communicate a thorough understanding of operational processes within the investment industry. + Strong investment knowledge and awareness, possibly obtained through pursuit/achievement of IMC, CISI, or Securities Institute qualifications. + Good understanding of the asset management and pension industries. + Experience with Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs) and/or Investment Trusts would be helpful as well as general funds business knowledge such as TA, Depositary, Custody, Fund Accounting and Currency Management. Some knowledge of Fund Accounting would be beneficial. + Good working practices to deliver timely, accurate, efficient and well-communicated solutions, sometimes at short notice. + Team-player, strong project management skills, with the ability to fit seamlessly into wider group of associates all focused on delivering work of exceptional quality. + IT and Microsoft Office skills and experience of third party systems would be an additional benefit.
