Job Description
The Post holder will be required to work within the Cardiothoracic Directorate on James Mackenzie Ward and to work internal rotation according to the needs of the service delivery. The post holder will be primarily required to work as a skilled member of the James Mackenzie /CCU nursing team to assist in the high provision of care to patients and families. This includes planning, assessment, implementation and evaluation of patient's care following agreed care pathways. They will develop and maintain good unit management and organisational skills and assist with the provision of an environment conductive to the education of staff. Duties also to include the cleaning, maintenance and safe handling of equipment. The successful post holder will be expected to participate in internal rotation.
